Ely Cathedral
Dog policy
Officially, extensively dog friendly - well-behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome throughout the Cathedral and even at some services, with a delightful annual pet blessing service each September featuring a real donkey, Marley, leading the procession up the nave; not permitted on ground floor tours, tower tours, at concerts/events, or inside the Almonry restaurant itself, though dogs are welcome in the Almonry gardens and Tea Room
About
One of the wonders of the medieval world, built between 1083 and 1375 and nestled in the unique Fenland landscape of Ely, England's second smallest city - home to the famous Octagon Tower, an extraordinary feat of medieval engineering suspended high over the centre of the Cathedral, plus the on-site Stained Glass Museum.
