Dog policy

Officially, extensively dog friendly - "you are very welcome to bring your well-behaved four-legged friend" throughout the Cathedral and Cloister on a lead, per the Cathedral's own official site; only assistance dogs are permitted inside The Refectory Bakery and Café itself, though other dogs are welcome in its outdoor seating. The Cathedral is also home to its own resident cat, Budge.

About

A genuinely magnificent 12th-century Romanesque cathedral, the largest building in East Anglia, home to the second tallest spire in England (after Salisbury) and the largest cathedral cloisters in the UK - free to enter, with an interesting connection to nurse Edith Cavell, and consistently praised guided tours from friendly volunteers.
