Genuinely one of very few pubs in the UK sitting directly on the beach shingle, affectionately known locally as "The Neppy" - a white weatherboarded building with a beer garden right on the sand, a wonderful spot to watch the sunset; reviews on staff friendliness are genuinely mixed, so worth being aware of, though many others describe a warm welcome.
