Dog policy

Officially, extensively dog friendly - "well behaved dogs on leads are welcome inside the Minster, its grounds and gardens", plus the Refectory café, with a much-loved annual Blessing of the Animals service inviting "furry, feathered and scaly companions" alike

About

A genuine "hidden gem" of English cathedrals, tucked away in the delightful Georgian market town of Southwell, distinctive for its unusual 12th-century "pepperpot" towers - the Chapter House houses the world-famous "Leaves of Southwell", a collection of 13th-century naturalistic stone carvings of plants, animals and "Green Men" considered the finest example of such carving in Europe.
