Officially, exceptionally dog friendly - a real customer review describes their dog Branston receiving a full goodie bag of treats including a tennis ball on arrival, with pets welcome in certain rooms (additional charge applies, one dog only) and in the bar and orangery, though not the main restaurant

A genuinely excellent Fuller's gastropub and hotel on the banks of the River Test in Romsey, one of Europe's finest trout and salmon rivers, with the Norman Abbey (dating to 907 AD) and Mottisfont Abbey's National Rose Collection nearby - immaculately clean, stylish rooms and consistently excellent, locally sourced food.
