A genuinely characterful, several-hundred-year-old pub hidden away behind Ypres Tower in Rye, with one of the greatest beer gardens around, offering views across the salt marshes and the Tower itself - a traditional drinks-focused pub with no kitchen, offering a genuinely warm welcome even to first-time visitors from out of town.
