A magnificent black-and-white timber-framed former manor house dating from 1438, where Queen Margaret, wife of Henry VI, is recorded as having spent the night of 3rd May 1471 on the eve of the Battle of Tewkesbury - now a family-owned pub near the historic "Bloody Meadow" battle site, with a courtyard and beer garden.
