Genuinely, extensively dog friendly - dogs welcome in the bar and restaurant (though not the Verderers' Court restaurant specifically), with a secure fenced field at the bottom of the car park for a good run, plus a dog waste bin by the gate

A former 17th-century hunting lodge set in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean, still occasionally holding the Forest of Dean Verderers' Court in its restaurant, with a light, airy orangery, gorgeous garden views and a cosy small bar.
