How do I claim my business?
Find your listing and tap Own this place? Claim this business on its page. You'll need a free WoofSorted account, so you'll be asked to sign in or register first.
Then tell us your name, your email, a phone number if you like, and how we can check you're connected to the business. For example, we can contact you on the phone number or email already shown for the business. A real person checks every claim before it's approved, so it isn't instant. We may get in touch to confirm the details.
How much does it cost to claim my business?
Nothing. Claiming your listing is free, and so is being listed on WoofSorted. Businesses can't pay to be included or to appear higher in search results.
What can I change once my claim is approved?
Go to your profile and open your business under My businesses. You can set your opening hours straight away, and suggest changes to your name, descriptions, dog notes, address, phone, email and website. We check suggested changes before they appear on your listing.
My business isn't listed. How do I add it?
Use Submit a place, the same as anyone else (in the app, tap + Submit a place on the Discover map). You'll need to be signed in. Include where dogs are allowed and any rules. We check every suggestion before it goes live, and once your listing is live you can claim it.
Our dog policy has changed, or we want our listing removed. What should I do?
If you've claimed your listing, you can suggest new dog notes from My businesses. Otherwise, please contact us and we'll update or remove the listing.
Can I get a sign to show we're dog-friendly?
Yes. If your business is listed, you can print a free window sign with a QR code that takes people to WoofSorted.
For dog owners
Is WoofSorted free?
Yes. The website and the app are free to use.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse. You'll need a free account to suggest a place, add a dog bin, write a review, save places or claim a business.
What counts as dog-friendly on WoofSorted?
We list places where dogs are welcome where visitors actually spend their time, usually inside with you, not just at an outside table. Hotels and B&Bs are only listed if your dog can stay in the room with you. Each listing says where dogs can go and anything that's provided, such as water or treats. Read more about how we check places.
How do I add a place?
On the website, use Submit a place. In the app, tap + Submit a place on the Discover map. You'll need to be signed in. We check every suggestion before it goes live.
How do I add a dog waste bin?
Bins are added in the app. On the Discover map, tap Show bins, then + Add missing bin. Take a photo of the bin or choose one from your library, check the pin is in the right place, pick the bin type and submit. You'll need to be signed in, and the bin appears on the map once we've checked it.
I've spotted something wrong on a listing. How do I tell you?
Use Report an issue with this place at the bottom of the listing, on the website or in the app. You can tell us a place has closed, no longer welcomes dogs, has changed its name, or has wrong details such as the address, phone number or website. You don't need an account. We check every report and update the listing.
How do I leave a review or add photos?
Sign in, open the place and tap Write a review. You can add photos to your review. Reviews and photos appear once we've checked them.
Can I save places for later?
Yes. Tap the heart on any place to save it. Your saved places are in Saved in the app, or on your saved places page on the website.
The app and your account
Where can I get the app?
The WoofSorted app is free on the App Store for iPhone. The Android version is in testing on Google Play, and you can join it from our app page.
Can the app tell me about new places nearby?
Yes. In the app, go to Profile and turn on Notify me about new places nearby. You can turn it off again at any time.
I've forgotten my password.
On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password? and we'll email you a link to set a new one.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Options → Delete my account. If you don't have the app, you can request deletion here. Your profile and saved places are removed. Reviews and places you've added stay on WoofSorted but are no longer linked to you.

What don't you list?
We list places people visit with their dogs. We don't list trades or services, places that are by appointment or online only, or places where dogs are only allowed outside the main visitor areas. That isn't a judgement on the business, it just isn't what WoofSorted is for. See our terms for details.
