About
A former motte and bailey castle developed over 1,000 years into a grand country house, home to 18 generations of the Luttrell family from 1376 until it was gifted to the National Trust in 1976 - Grade I listed, with a rare collection of painted leather hangings (the only one of its kind in the UK), sub-tropical terraced gardens, and a historic working Victorian watermill.
