Dog policy

Officially confirmed dog friendly, part of the Association of English Cathedrals' official list of 25 dog-friendly cathedrals - a real 2024 news story highlighted that many local Peterborians remain unaware their own cathedral allows dogs in any day of the week, so long as they're happy around people and other dogs; a separate tourism listing showing "dogs not accepted" appears to be outdated and was disregarded in favour of the more current, authoritative sources

About

A genuinely impressive cathedral in Peterborough with an unusual and striking west front of three large arches, unlike almost any other cathedral in England - the abbey survived Henry VIII's dissolution by becoming a cathedral in 1541, and today hosts genuinely engaging temporary exhibitions including a Titanosaur display and "The Longest Yarn" crochet installation.
