About
A traditional public house by Penzance harbour, run by Richard and Siobhan, dating back to 1585 - once John Hawkins' headquarters recruiting Cornishmen to fight the Spanish Armada, reputedly where Sir Walter Raleigh smoked the first pipe of tobacco in Britain, later used as a courtroom for centuries, and said to be home to three ghostly spirits; perfectly positioned to catch the boat to the Isles of Scilly.
