Officially, extensively dog friendly - the bar and snug areas are dog friendly, plus a large dog-friendly beer garden with a purpose-built children's area, specific dog-friendly bedrooms (rooms 6, 7 and 8), and a shower available for muddy dogs and boots after a coastal walk

A historic 17th-century coaching inn in the village of Kilve on the edge of the Quantock Hills, with a roaring fire, flagstone floors and beams, on the route of the Coleridge Way and close to the fossil-rich Jurassic coastline, halfway between Bridgwater and Minehead.
