A cosy 17th-century thatched pub in Wantage (one of the few buildings in the country to retain its thatched roof after the Great Fire of London-era changes), with plenty of exposed wooden beams, a wooden play area in the garden for children, and a genuinely great festive atmosphere at Christmas.
