Exceptionally, extensively dog friendly - not only are dogs welcome throughout with water bowls provided, but there's also free dog biscuits, a doggy paddling pool on hot days, and even doggy ice cream on the menu

A hugely popular pub right on Wantage's Market Place, recently elevated under a new head chef and now regarded by many locals as serving the best food in town, with standout southern fried chicken and dirty burgers, a beautiful garden and attentive, warm staff.
