A real old-fashioned family-run village pub in West Chinnock, at the foot of Ham Hill, occupying a building dating to around 1650 (originally weavers' cottages, then a cider house from the 1890s) - run by the Medcalf family since March 1999, and featured in The Telegraph's Best Pubs in England list.
