Dog policy
Officially, exceptionally dog friendly - "overly-dog-friendly" by reputation, with its own dedicated canine menu (roast pork, beef or veggie risotto for Sunday lunch), a "Waggytail Cocktails" menu of dog-themed drinks, plenty of dog treats, and even its very own dog show. Our restaurant is now a dog free zone so please be sure when booking with your doggo to select bringing a dog and you can book in either our bar or snug.

A genuinely exceptional 18th-century gastro pub between Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley AONB, retaining much of its rustic, cosy character - Taste of the West Gold Award winner for hospitality, serving freshly caught fish from Plymouth, eggs from Cornish hens and locally sourced meat.
