About
A Grade II listed, late-Victorian town-centre pub built in the 1880s from local limestone, a genuine CAMRA Heritage pub retaining its original public bar, snug, lounge and off-sales hatch, with the River Somer flowing beneath the pavement outside - once a prominent meeting place for local colliers, and Midsomer Norton itself is rumoured to have inspired the name of the long-running TV series Midsomer Murders.
