About
A traditional 19th-century ivy-covered, stone-clad pub in the Mendip Hills village of Priddy, at 850 feet above sea level. Original features throughout including flagstone flooring, huge fireplaces and beamed ceilings, with two log fires in winter. Real ales including Butcombe and rotating guest ales, plus four bag-in-box ciders. Excellent home-cooked food. Children's play fort in the garden. Popular with walkers exploring Stockhill Wood and the Mendips.
