Genuinely, extensively dog friendly - the pub's own resident dog, Percy, greets visitors downstairs (dogs welcome in the ground floor bar), with no food served but customers welcome to bring their own in with Percy's blessing

A proper old-school Cornish boozer right in the heart of Truro, housed in a former draper's shop with wooden floors, beams and free monkey nuts from old wooden barrels since anyone can remember - CAMRA Kernow Pub of the Year 2017 and a finalist in the CAMRA National Pub of the Year Awards, with live music, jam nights and open mics most evenings.
