A charming, traditional family pub in the picturesque Wiltshire town of Mere - the third incarnation of a pub on this site since 1840, rebuilt in 2005 with a heated Glass Room and Conservatory - genuinely notable enough to receive a surprise visit from Prince William in late 2025, with an extensive gluten-free menu and a famous Sunday carvery.
